Kait Mauro (she/her) is an artist & writer from Pittsburgh PA & Saint Louis MO who now lives in Birmingham AL. She lives with her husband, four dogs & her wildly out of control collection of houseplants. She loves contemporary dance videos, bonsai, long talks about feeling, feeding giraffes lettuce at the zoo & a good mystery novel.

She writes poetry, creative non-fiction & “prosetry.” She has been taking photographs for twelve years both professionally & also just for her own pleasure. She has been writing for even longer than that. Her other mediums of art include collage, painting, art journaling & drawing (well, trying to…).
